Children’s Village recently earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), achieving exceptional scores.
NAEYC, the world’s largest organization working on behalf of young children, is the benchmark of excellence–and we attained the designation with flying colors. We voluntarily undergo NAEYC’s rigorous quality-improvement system, which uses a set of 10 research-based standards and hundreds of corresponding individual criteria. Children’s Village has achieved NAEYC accreditation continuously since 1996.

“NAEYC accreditation reflects the dedication of Children’s Village’s teachers, staff, families, Board of Directors, and other volunteers,” says Mary Graham, Executive Director, Children’s Village. “Equally important, we could not achieve our level of excellence without support from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Parents and public subsidies do not cover the cost of quality. We hope our supporters share our pride in this accomplishment; we could not have achieved it without them,” says Mary.

“Only together can we continue to ensure that children, including those at risk, reap the lifelong benefits of high-quality early learning,” says Mary.
