Sanctuary Suppers:  Changing the Conversation Around Immigration One Meal at a Time

Sanctuary Suppers is a volunteer organization that supports immigrants and refugees by raising funds for community-based organizations that provide direct services. Every six weeks, Sanctuary Suppers partners with a different agency and hosts a dinner at a restaurant that employs or is owned by immigrants. With the dual goal of showcasing diverse cuisines in Philadelphia and educating people about immigration issues, Sanctuary Suppers sets the stage for changes in local and national immigration policies. This Supper will also celebrate the contribution that Chinatown makes to the City of Philadelphia’s vibrancy, diversity, and economy.

Unable to attend? You can still  DONATE TO CHILDREN’S VILLAGE
