Children’s Village’s Executive Director Mary Graham (above, left) moderated a panel discussion for the invitation-only The Business Case for Child Care event co-hosted by the PA Early Learning Investment Commission and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on December 13.

Employers and community leaders learned about the role of early care and education in the workforce infrastructure and the economic importance of accessible, quality care for working families.  The sessions included discussions on challenges in the child care sector and strategies to move the Greater Philadelphia region toward accessible, high-quality child care for a strong economy.

They also highlighted an online tool, childcaremap.org, as one solution that helps Philadelphians make decisions about childcare.
