NAEYC Leadership Visit Children's Village

Special Guests Observe Our Program in Action

Every child deserves a high-quality learning environment during their early years, the most critical stage of development. To ensure program excellence, Children’s Village voluntarily pursues National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation. In November 2022, we earned this achievement with near-perfect scores. NAEYC then selected several of our classroom and program portfolios to share with others pursuing accreditation.

In another reflection of our distinctive level of quality, NAEYC's Alissa Mwenelupembe, Managing Director of Early Learning, and Susan Friedman, Senior Director, Publishing & Content, recently visited Children’s Village to observe our program.

“Our teachers and staff set the bar high for their caring, creative, and professional approaches. We are honored to have NAEYC spend time with us and learn more about our work," says Mary Graham, Executive Director.

Engaging a yound learner on his level, NAEYC's Alissa Mwenelupembe receives a toy from an infant.
