A MESSAGE FROM OUR FAMILY SERVICES DIRECTOR
Welcome to Children’s Village! You may be considering care and education options for your child, or you may have already decided that Children’s Village is the right place for you. We hope to give you all of the information you need to feel good about your decision.
All of us at Children’s Village want to work closely with you. Children benefit when their home and school lives are well integrated. Children feel more secure when they see their teachers and parents talking together, smiling, and sharing important information back and forth. A strong bridge between home and school provides the best chance for a child’s school success.
Families participate in a personalized intake interview prior to the child’s first day. We discuss your child’s daily routines, favorite things to do, and how to help your child adjust here at Children’s Village. Parent/teacher conferences are held twice a year to review the child’s development and learning goals. Classroom volunteer opportunities, parent workshops, and advisory committee participation are all available to parents and important family members.
We look forward to working with you to help us get to know you, your family, and your child. Children’s Village serves a broad diversity of families. As we get to know you, we can respond to your growing and changing needs.
