A Special Message from Mary Graham, Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Exploring, discovering, creating -- at Children's Village, students' days are filled with these 'building blocks' of learning. Our skilled, caring teachers offer the tools, guidance, and encouragement to best nurture children's growth and development.

And they could not do so without you.

As another extraordinary year closes, I thank you.

You relentlessly advocate and amplify the message that high-quality child care is the foundation for academic success for our children and an economic engine for our nation. (Stay informed on the Build Back Better Act here.)

You donate funds to help us to respond to the needs of children and families, especially those struggling financially. And you express your appreciation to our teaching, family partnership, nutrition, and administrative staff for going above and beyond despite incredibly difficult circumstances.

Even though we face continued challenges, I have hope for the coming year. One year ago -- with no federal financial safety net for child care and no vaccine -- fear filled our lives.

Today, I am sending you wishes of hope -- and I am hopeful the pictures of the children and their work (below) will uplift you.

In fact, my gift to every staff member is the ornament (above) as a tangible reminder of the power of hope.

With happy, hopeful wishes for the holidays and the new year ahead,

Mary E. Graham
Executive Director
