Raising our Voices and VOTING!

At Children's Village, our commitment to children extends beyond those entrusted to our care; we advocate for the best in education for every child. We also encourage families to raise their voices on behalf of their children and community.

Children's Village recently provided all staff with masks designed with voting messages. Look closely at the V-O-T-E  letters above and you'll see some of us wearing them. We want to share messages from some of our staff about their work, encouraging others to vote, and the voting experience.

From first-time voters who newly registered this year:

"I'm so glad I joined the mark of history.  I now believe nothing is too small as long as you are will to do it, it could become big."

"I voted because in my work I was present during parent orientation sessions and in those sessions Mary Graham talked about the impact policy has on child care and families and that to influence policy we must vote."

"I am grateful for the freedom and courage to encourage others to vote, especially as a person who cannot even vote.  But at every step, the Children's Village community motivated and guided me."
