TODAY IS GIVING TUESDAY NOW–A Global Day of Unity and Giving
While Children’s Village’s doors may be closed because of the covid-19 crisis, we continue to reach out to our students and their families. Our educators are working very hard to stay connected to our families and ensure all children know how much we we care about them. (Check out the videos we’ve been posting on our Facebook page.) Our bi-lingual staff have been connecting with our non-English speaking families to help with translations and accessing resources. ALL of our staff have been advocating for increased funding for the child care system.
Children’s Village is grateful for all of you who have been lifting us up every day over the last few weeks. Today, is Giving Tuesday Now, a global day of unity and giving in response to the unprecedented needed caused by covid-19, and we remind you of the many ways to give:
ADVOCATE Tell Gov. Wolf and the General Assembly to shore up the child care system to ensure all child care programs can reopen when this crisis ends.
